Eleanor and park By Rainbow Rowell

Eleanor and park is a story of two people living two completely different lives, in completely different houses, with completely different people. One day their paths cross and everything changes. This book is not your typical love story, but enters into an entirely different world one that is deeper more twisted and is faced with more challenges. Eleanor is considered uncool, no one likes her clothes or hair, she is constantly stared and judged by others. Park is a teenager, raised in a different house hold, only hurt by the ones who are mean to almost everyone. Eleanor and Park are at first uncomfortable, but things slowly change.
I enjoyed this book because I found the characters relatable. This book is not your cliche love story, it proves that in the real world there are no happy ever afters, another relatable aspect. The characters have struggles with school, with their parents and often with their friends. These are all things that I can relate to. Eleanor and Park is a heart warming tale which left me in tears.
